Forms not displaying

We use cookie's to determine if a visitor has seen a popup form.  Once a user has seen your popup, until this cookie expires they will not be able to see it again (depending on your settings).

We highly recommend using Google Chrome's Incognito mode to test your website to view your apps as if you were a new visitor.  This is far more effective than clearing your cache and removing your cookies.

To test your popups in Chrome's Incognito Mode:

  • Open up Google Chrome
  • Click File > New Incognito Window


If you are having issues testing or seeing your popups, this is most likely the reason why.  If you are not seeing your popups even in Google Chrome's incognito, double-check the following:

  • The app you want to display is turned "on" and will be indicated by a green dot in the Sumo Launcher.
    • In this screenshot you will see that List Builder, Integrations, and Message Center are all turned on.


  • Is one of your apps turned off and want to turn it on?
    • To turn an app on, navigate to your Sumo Settings Icon indicated by a cog wheel in the top right of the Sumo Launcher 
      • Locate "Apps" and switch the app to "on."


  • The popup you are trying to display is set to "Make Live" and is not set to "Paused" within List Builder.


  • Your Display Rules are set up correctly to show on the page you're not seeing any apps trigger. In this example, this popup will ONLY display on the home page.
